These prenatal courses for expecting parent(s) provides a complete range of information and guidance for new mothers (and fathers!) during the pregnancy. They are designed to begin shortly after Week 4 of your pregnancy till the moment when your baby is a few weeks old. I encourage both parents to take part in all the courses as you go through the wonderful journey of giving birth to your child.

 

 

Diet & Nutrition in Pregnancy

When you are pregnant, eating healthy is more important than ever. Deeply understand all the essentials of eating well & which nutrients to include in your daily diet.

This course will not only equip you for healthy pregnancy but will change your outlook towards health and nutrition for life so that you will be able to plan healthy diets for your upcoming baby and the entire family. Your learning will include practical tips, easy recipes and sample diets. Additionally, you will be recommended weight gain and calorie intake suitable to your body needs. The course will also guide you on exercises & fitness during your pregnancy.

Health of Mother and Child

What physiological changes does your body and your baby undergo throughout the pregnancy? This course will provide a week-by-week understanding, specifically focusing on what you are expected to feel. This will help you identify warning signs requiring medical attention.

The course will also teach you how to deal with common pregnancy ailments and identify their symptoms.

Duration: 1 and a 1/2 hours per session
When to take this course: Any time between Week 4 and Week 27

Labour, Delivery and the New Baby

This is an essential course that provides a great way to prepare for labour and birth. It comprehensively covers all the information you need, including pre-labour, labour, effective & natural pain management, essential pregnancy & post-birth exercises, correct & practical breathing techniques, effective pushing techniques, new mother care, infant care, breastfeeding and many more. The emphasis is on providing deep knowledge in a simple, easy-to-understand way.

One of the most important components of this course is understanding the role of other individuals during the process, including your partner and the doctor/midwife. 

This course helps you prepare for both natural and medically-assisted birth, allowing you to absorb and adapt the information to your circumstances.

Complete Prenatal Course

One-Day Prenatal Crash Course

Womb&Beyond understand that many parent(s) simply do not have the time to attend multiple sessions due to work or family commitments, or perhaps due to logistics.

To help such expecting parent(s), Womb&Beyond has a special one-day course which compresses all the essential information from the Labour, Delivery and the New Baby course into a full-day session conducted on a suitable day.
